SonicWall NSv S
NSv S is the dual-core step-up from XS - it also runs SonicOSX 8.0, scales to 500 SSO users, and delivers 6 Gbps of firewall inspection throughput, still aimed at small, simple branch or micro-SMB deployments but with meaningfully more headroom than XS for slightly larger sites or a few more concurrent sessions.
All four run across VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, KVM, and Proxmox (Gen 8's new addition), plus AWS/Azure with BYOL or PAYG licensing, and all carry the same RTDMI/RFDPI/Capture ATP engines and embedded Cysurance cyber warranty - the differentiation is purely core count, throughput, and SSO user scale as you move XS → S → M → L.
