Secure Wireless IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY NOTES:
SonicPoint-Ni, SonicPoint-Ne & SonicPoint-N Dual-Radio
The SonicPoint-Ni, SonicPoint-Ne & SonicPoint-N Dual-Radio are the current models available and only supported on Gen 5 SonicWALL firewalls (TZ 100/200/210 & NSA/E-Class NSA) and running firmware 5.6.x and later. It is unlikely that these latest Ni, Ne & N D-R models will be given backward compatible with earlier models of firewalls.
SonicPoint-N
The SonicPoint-N is no longer available and has been replaced by the SonicPoint-Ne [01-SSC-8578] & SonicPoint-Ni [01-SSC-8576]
The SonicPoint-N is compatibile with all Gen5 SonicWALL firewalls running firmware 5.x and later.
Most Gen4 SonicWALL firewalls (including the TZ180/190 or PRO2040/3060/4060/4100/5060) are compatible when using the firmware 4.2.1.0-20 - Release Date: Jan 5, 2010, and later versions.
These earlier firewalls will need a current support contract to be able to download this latest firmware version, here.
