Returns policy

NOTE: ALL RETURNS ARE CAREFULLY INSPECTED UPON RECEIPT!

SonicWall-Sales.com Returns Policy

Thank you for purchasing from Sonictek Limited.
All goods are supplied in good faith as fit for the purpose described in the information contained on our web-site.
By accepting the goods the customer deems them as such and of satisfactory quality.
We understand that there are certain circumstances under which you may wish to return goods to us.

Goods Faulty on Arrival

If your goods are faulty on arrival, you have 14 days to inform us of the fault. If you are not a business customer you may inform us up to 28 days from receipt.

If equipment is 'Dead on Arrival' you should contact the manufacturer directly. Registering the unit online allows the fault to be verified and a replacement dispatched to you without delay under the terms of the manufacturer's guarantee.

In other circumstances, once goods have been returned to us and the fault has been verified we'll issue a refund to you by cheque.

Goods Faulty within Guarantee Period

If your goods develop a fault but it's more than 28 days since receipt, then provided your product is within its guarantee period, you should be entitled to a guarantee repair. In some cases, the manufacturer may provide a special full on-site service and or telephone help facilities for your convenience which, of course, we recommend you utilise in order to correct the fault quickly.

Licences (Services, Support, VPNs etc)

Once a licence key has been activated, it is only possible to allow a return when specifically authorized by the manufacturer. This is permitted only rarely.

Changed Your Mind/Non-Defective Returns

If you have simply changed your mind about your order and you wish to return your goods, then in line with the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) you can do so provided you inform us of this decision in writing within 7 days from receipt. The goods must not be opened nor used and must be 'as new' when returned to us. Once you've informed us of your decision to return goods under DSR, you have 28 days to do so at your own expense (we advise that you fully insure the package you are returning). Once the goods are received and checked, we'll issue a refund for the cost of the goods. Once we begin the delivery process, you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for services carried out by us (e.g. postage and packing).

Requesting a Return

Now you know our returns policy, you can request a return.

Simply give us a call on 0330 1340 230 or email us at returns@sonictek.co.uk giving your reason for the return and we'll issue you with a RMA number and an address to send the goods to.

In the case of an item being 'Dead on Arrival' we will advise you of the contact details of the manufacturer so you can arrange to quickly receive a replacement unit.

Otherwise, you will need to return the defective item in its original box, with all warranty cards, licences, manuals and accessories. Wrap the package securely. Please provide a full description of the fault and include this with the item. We recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service.
