Complementing the 10/100/1000 WAN and LAN ports is a 5-port 10/100 LAN switch that is fully customizable as a second LAN, a second WAN, a WLAN, a DMZ or another customized network zone. The TZ 210 Series comes standard with unrestricted nodes and Dell SonicWALL’s feature-rich SonicOS Enhanced firmware as well as two USB ports for future use. In addition, the TZ 210 includes optional 802.11n, the ultimate in high-speed wireless communications.
And now includes SSL VPN which provides easy and secure remote access to network resources and applications.
- Instant 3G Wireless Broadband Access. The TZ 190 Series enables secure networking even in areas where fixed broadband is impractical. In combination with an approved wireless broadband PC card, the TZ 190 connects to the wireless network providing an enterprise class network anywhere with digital wireless phone coverage.*
- Deep Packet Inspection Firewall. The TZ 190 Series features a configurable, high performance deep packet inspection firewall for extended protection to key Internet services such as Web, e-mail, file transfer, Windows services and DNS.
- Real-Time Gateway Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware and Intrusion Prevention. The TZ 190 Series extends security from the network core to the perimeter by integrating support for SonicWALL's Gateway Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware and Intrusion Prevention Service, delivering real-time protection against the latest blended threats, including viruses, spyware, worms, Trojans, software vulnerabilities and other malicious code.**
- Performance Optimized Setting. The TZ 190 Series running SonicOS 3.9 or later provides the option to increase UTM performance by up to 2x for extreme bandwidth requirements by selecting Performance Optimized in the Security Services settings of the user interface.
- Support for GSM and CDMA-based 2G/3G Networks. The TZ 190 Series supports both GSM and CDMA-based 2G/3G networks, ensuring worldwide 3G wireless broadband coverage.
- Automated WAN Failover and Failback Technologies. The TZ 190 Series ensures continuous uptime for IPSec VPN tunnels by automatically failing over to an alternate WAN connection should the broadband connection fail. Once the broadband is re-established, the TZ 190 fails back, providing the best connection speed possible.
- 802.11b/g Wireless LAN Access. In addition to providing secure wireless broadband access, the TZ 190 Series integrates support for the 802.11b/g wireless standard, providing secure wireless access to the TZ 190 LAN.
- Unique SonicWALL PortShield Architecture. The TZ 190 Series features the unique SonicWALL PortShield architecture which provides the flexibility to configure port level security for the LAN, providing protection not only from the WAN and DMZ, but also between devices inside the LAN.
- Comprehensive Central Management Support. Every SonicWALL security appliance can be managed using SonicWALL's award-winning Global Management System, which provides network administrators with the tools for simplified configuration, enforcement and management of global security policies, VPN, and services, all from a central location.
